Get your lime on with Girls Inc. and Cadillac Bar during an evening of margaritas and friendly competition!
The second annual Be Bold Margarita Competition & Silent Auction takes place Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. at Cadillac Bar at 1802 Shepherd. The cost to attend is $40 per person or $45 at the door, which includes margarita tastings, delicious appetizers provided by Cadillac Bar and entry into the event’s silent auction filled with exciting items. A cash bar will also be available.
All of the tequila used in the competition will be IZKALI® Tequila, a new brand just introduced in Houston but already winner of the Chairman’s Trophy at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge in New York, in the Paloma cocktail category. IZKALI® has been carefully handcrafted in Jalisco by a master distiller to the strict specifications of Houstonians Ignacio and Nydia Flores in three expressions, silver, reposado and anejo. Both the IZKALI® silver tequila and reposado tequila will be used in the competition margaritas.
Deborah Duncan of Great Day Houston will emcee the event and teams will compete to mix the best margarita. Of course, there will also be plenty of delicious food and the chance to try Cadillac Bar’s new signature “Be Bold” Margarita. Don’t forget to wear your sombrero – the biggest one gets a prize!
Additionally, the lovely ladies of the Houston Roller Derby will serve as honorary judges.
