As we are coming to the end of 2011, the team here at IZKALI® wanted to give our loyal fans a little gift. We created this new wintery recipe for a spicy hot chocolate, flavoured with our top-rated reposado tequila. We hope you enjoy sharing it with your friends and family it as much as we enjoyed making it for you.
Ingredients
8 oz Milk
4 Tbs Ghiradelli Double Chocolate Hot Cocoa
3 inch Cinnamon Stick
1 Tsp Agave Nectar
1.5 oz IZKALI® Reposado
1/8 Tsp (a dash) Cayenne Pepper
Directions
On stove top, mix hot chocolate and milk using a whisk or Mexican molinillo. While heating up the mix, drop a 3 inch cinnamon stick into pot and add the agave nectar or honey and dash of cayenne pepper. Pour hot chocolate into heated mug and add 1.5oz IZKALI® Reposado Tequila. Top with whipped cream. Sprinkle a bit of hot chocolate mix and cayenne pepper on the whipped cream for visual texture.
